Elevator Pitch
What does it mean to live a VIVID life? We think of many things. It means to live to your fullest potential no matter what walk of life you are in. It means being an active citizen in your own community. It means to show unconditional love to those around you. VIVID is committed to helping women in the community grow their passions, talents and strengths to raise a generation that holds nothing back. We provide a mentoring program to young women in the community who lack the resources to succeed by pairing them up with a mentor in the industry they want to pursue. We also host community workshops to inform our youth about current social issues. VIVID strives to unite the community through their fun-loving events that gives a platform for youth to shine. We would love for you to get involved by joining us at our community events, helping host them, or volunteering to be a mentor. Love life, live VIVID.

Our Programs
Mentoring Program: We will pair young women with volunteer mentors in the industry they want to pursue. Both participants will be required to sign an agreement about what is expected. ​

Community Workshop: VIVID will host a community workshop once a month the raise awareness for current social issues. We will serve light refreshments. The structure will start with an introduction, then we will break up into small groups and discuss our story of self, story of us, and story of now. There will be volunteer facilitators of conversation that have pre-written questions and will attend a training before the forum. We will then debrief what we learned in the big group.

Community Event: VIVID desires to give our youth a platform to shine so they can embrace a VIVID life. Some examples could include hosting an art show for students to display and sell their work, throwing a concert for those interested in performing arts, or even having a game night. We wanted to unite the community in a light-hearted way where they can support one another's talents.
